Leading change through a corporate rebranding

The branding was unveiled on October 21st, 2022 at a spectacular event held at John Atanasoff Forum in Sofia Tech Park, with distinguished guests that included, representatives of business, industry and authorities/regulators. The new name fits the company’s pledge to commit to intelligent energy solutions while honouring its proud legacy. By becoming HELLENiQ ENERGY, the company shows its commitment to evolving beyond oil into an integrated energy company, into one that has a leading role across the entire energy value chain and incorporates strict ESG criteria into its operations and future priorities.

At the event, the group also revealed its new logo, each aspect of which has been carefully designed to represent a part of HELLENiQ ENERGY’s identity. Keeping a strong bond to the company’s history, the recognizable stripes have been set in motion and evolved into a wave of energy, which signals the transition and makes it visible, while the guiding star represents a spark of intelligence and guiding element. The revision of the elements is intended to illustrate what HELLENiQ ENERGY is striving for: energy transition and progress. The new brand appearance of HELLENiQ ENERGY is also characterized by a bright and strong colour code, with a palette consisting of primary and secondary colours, a palette that is a tribute to the Group’s deep roots in Greece. The Ocean Blue, in particular, which carries a strong association to the Greek vast blue sea, is the main brand colour, used in the logo and therefore, an important component of the brand.

HELLENiQ ENERGY CEO, Mr Andreas Shiamishis, spoke proudly of the rebranding at the event: “We are planning and working towards a future that is cleaner and more sustainable for all everywhere we operate. As HELLENiQ Energy, we seek to continue pursuing a path of excellence and being a role model in the country, driving developments forward, while contributing to green growth as well as to energy transition. At the same time, however, it is equally important to adjust the company’s traditional activities to a new environment and to continue being a key contributor to the uninterrupted supply, especially during the current challenging times.”

During all these years, we have taken the issue of road safety as a personal and corporate cause and we are working intensively on it in Bulgaria. We pledge our commitment to continue to give back to and contribute in substance.”.
