EКO 24 hours of Bulgaria with the first start of the year

The European Karting Endurance Championship continues on the karting track in the town of Haskovo


 EКO 24 Hours of Bulgaria, part of the European Karting Endurance Championship, will start its fourth edition, on May 28th, at 12.30 pm on the karting track in the town of Haskovo. After the successful and contested 8-hour format, which took place in mid-April, the competitors will once again compete, but this time in a 24-hour challenge.


EKO 24 Hours of Bulgaria attracts teams from all over the world and this time the total number of pilots is 220, divided into 42 teams from 12 nations.


For another year, the organizers promise a lot of surprises, strong emotions and adrenaline for all lovers of motor sports. EКO Bulgaria will have its own team "EКО and Friends", which will compete with professionals from around the world. Traditionally, a "Team of Stars" is formed, which brings together representatives from various fields and professions. The star team will include Yordan Yovchev, actors Naum Shopov and Ivo Arakov, Guinness World Record holder Boris Nalbantov, Snowboard World Cup winner Rado Yankov, Bulgarian football legend Daniel Borimirov, ultrarunner Krasi Georgiev and the young hope of Bulgarian motor sport, Kaloyan Varbitsaliev.


For another year, the organizers will support the charity campaign to raise funds for little Gogo from Haskovo and will provide part of the fees for participation in the competition for his treatment.


Admission will be free for all who wish to watch the spectacular event live, while complying with the COVID -19 measures. Fans of speed can follow the race through live broadcasts on BNT.


The championship will continue with a sprint race and a 6-hour endurance on August 27-28 in the town of Kyustendil and with the second edition for 2022 of the EKO 24-hour of Bulgaria on October 1-2 again on the karting track Haskovo.
